Hacktoberfest 2020
Ah shit, here we go again. Another year passed, and another Hacktoberfest is over. I’ve just received my swag, and I can’t be more excited!
Since 2014, every year I try to find the time to contribute to some open-source projects that need help, every year I get swag and an awesome t-shirt from @DigitalOcean in exchange of my contributions. Amazing, eh?
So as I do every year, I’m writing this post to remind myself why I’m doing it, why I should keep doing it and why YOU should start doing it as well. Yes, I’m talking with you if I can find the time to contribute, help somebody and earn some swag, why can’t you?

As you can see, I’ve contributed to just 4 projects, I didn’t have much free time last year, but I think they were enough and I’m proud of it, even the smallest contribution can make the difference.
